The Barrel Sauna with Changing Room is designed to deliver the warmth and performance of a traditional outdoor sauna in a more practical layout. Handcrafted from Western Red Cedar and designed for year-round use, it is a strong fit for the Canadian outdoors.

The integrated changing room adds privacy, convenience, and extra protection from drafts and heat loss when stepping back in. It not only provides space for personal belongings but also allows each user to take breaks between sessions and enjoy the experience at their own pace.

The barrel shape promotes efficient heat circulation, helping the sauna warm evenly for a consistent and enjoyable session. Paired with your choice of wood-burning sauna stove or electric heater, it offers the flexibility to create the sauna experience that suits your space and routine. Barrel saunas are perfect for the traditional sauna experience, whether you prefer crisp dry heat, softer steam-rich löyly from water over the stones, or Eastern European banya-style venik rituals using birch or oak sauna whisks.

Available in two sizes, this model combines comfort, durability, and the timeless appeal of red cedar in one outdoor sauna built to last. Multiple accessories and upgrades are available, including a choice of windows, flooring, lighting, and even remote or app-controlled operation. All our sauna roofs are protected by rust-proof, leak-proof covers, while the Red Cedar naturally resists rot and decay inside and out.

Sauna dimensions: All saunas are 6.5ft tall with a 4ft changing room. 10ft sauna comfortably fits up to 4 people, 12ft up to 6.

Got this for the cottage. The changing room is super practical, especially with kids. No more wet towels everywhere.

I bought a sauna from SaunaSpa a little over a month ago, and now that I’ve had some time to actually use it, I wanted to share my experience. I’m very happy with the purchase. The quality is excellent, especially the red cedar, and considering the price, I honestly think it’s a great value. The sauna feels solid and well made, and it’s even better once you actually start using it. The delivery and installation were also quick and hassle-free. What I appreciated most, though, was dealing with someone who really knows saunas. The seller was very helpful, answered all my questions, and gave me some genuinely useful advice about operating and getting the most out of the sauna. It never felt like he was just trying to make a sale. My wife and I have been using it regularly for more than a month now, and we’re both really enjoying it. It has become one of those purchases where you keep thinking, “Why didn’t we do this sooner?” There are quite a few sauna options available at different price points, so it’s worth talking to them about what would actually suit you rather than simply looking at the most expensive model. Overall, I’m very pleased with the sauna and with the whole experience. If I ever wanted another one, I would have no hesitation buying from SaunaSpa again.
