SaunaSpa Warranty

SaunaSpa products are covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour against manufacturing defects and defects in workmanship, starting from the date of delivery or installation. If a covered defect appears during the SaunaSpa warranty period, SaunaSpa will inspect the issue and, when applicable, repair or replace the defective part at no cost to the customer.

SaunaSpa Warranty on Structure

The 1-year SaunaSpa warranty applies to the sauna structure and SaunaSpa-manufactured components, including wood components, benches, doors, windows, hardware, and other parts supplied by SaunaSpa, when the issue is caused by a manufacturing defect.

Because our saunas are made from natural wood and installed outdoors, certain changes are normal and are not considered defects. This includes wood expansion and contraction, small cracks, checking, colour changes, weathering, minor water infiltration, and natural movement of the cedar.

Stove / Heater Warranty

The sauna stove or electric heater is covered by the stove manufacturer’s warranty, not directly by SaunaSpa. Warranty terms, duration, exclusions, and approval are determined by the stove manufacturer.

SaunaSpa will assist customers with the warranty process when possible, but the final decision regarding stove or heater warranty coverage remains with the manufacturer.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:

  • Improper installation or relocation
  • Improper electrical installation or connection
  • Lack of regular maintenance
  • Failure to stain, protect, or maintain the exterior wood
  • Snow, ice, water accumulation, or extreme weather exposure
  • Improper base or uneven foundation
  • Normal wood movement, cracking, checking, or colour changes
  • Misuse, negligence, abuse, or accidental damage
  • Modifications made by the customer or a third party
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Commercial or rental use, unless agreed to in writing

Maintenance Requirements

To keep the sauna in good condition, customers are responsible for regular maintenance, including tightening the metal bands when needed, keeping the sauna on a proper level base, removing snow from the roof, ensuring proper drainage, and protecting the exterior wood with an appropriate stain or sealer.

Failure to properly maintain the sauna may void the warranty.

SaunaSpa Warranty Claims

To make a SaunaSpa warranty claim, the customer must contact SaunaSpa with proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos or videos showing the problem.

SaunaSpa will review the claim and determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. If an on-site inspection or service visit is required and the issue is not covered by warranty, service fees may apply.
