This 6 ft Barrel Sauna Classic is a ready for pickup outdoor sauna handcrafted from Western Red Cedar and built for year-round use in Canadian weather. Designed to accommodate up to four people, this configuration is available at our Saint-Chrysostome, Quebec location.
The traditional barrel shape promotes fast, even heat circulation, helping the sauna warm up efficiently and maintain a consistent temperature. Its compact size makes it well suited to backyards, cottages, and private outdoor wellness spaces while preserving the authentic atmosphere of a traditional cedar sauna.
This configuration includes 1 inch thick cedar walls, a Half Moon Window, and a Harvia KIP 80B electric sauna heater rated for 240 V at 33 A. The window brings natural light into the sauna, while the electric heater offers simple and dependable temperature control.
Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay in humid environments, making it an excellent material for an outdoor sauna exposed to changing Canadian conditions. A rust-resistant metal roof helps protect the cedar from rain, snow, and year-round exposure.

I bought a sauna from SaunaSpa a little over a month ago, and now that I’ve had some time to actually use it, I wanted to share my experience.
I’m very happy with the purchase. The quality is excellent, especially the red cedar, and considering the price, I honestly think it’s a great value. The sauna feels solid and well made, and it’s even better once you actually start using it.
The delivery and installation were also quick and hassle-free. What I appreciated most, though, was dealing with someone who really knows saunas. The seller was very helpful, answered all my questions, and gave me some genuinely useful advice about operating and getting the most out of the sauna. It never felt like he was just trying to make a sale.
My wife and I have been using it regularly for more than a month now, and we’re both really enjoying it. It has become one of those purchases where you keep thinking, “Why didn’t we do this sooner?”
There are quite a few sauna options available at different price points, so it’s worth talking to them about what would actually suit you rather than simply looking at the most expensive model.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the sauna and with the whole experience. If I ever wanted another one, I would have no hesitation buying from SaunaSpa again.

Great Saunas made in Quebec. I saw so many different Chinese DIY kits before that are made from unknown wood. Saunaspa is local and only makes quality western red cedar saunas.
